This morning while I was invigilating the exam, I found it hard to control the candidate’s discipline; they could not stop talking and walking about. They were so excited. I asked what had happened to them; they told me that today was their last paper. They did not seem to bother about the invigilator, they kept on talking until they were satisfied, then they began to answer the paper.
The time allocated for this paper was one hour and fifteen minutes. After half an hour, half the candidates had left the room. Suddenly, there were loud fire cracker and fire works noises from the field. In our custom here, fire cracker only used on wedding days, New Year celebration or other special occasions. This was my first time I see such celebration just before the exam is over.
Soon after the exam, some students were running everywhere throwing at each other flour. I do not know since when there were such celebrations, I wondered if it is a trend or it only happened in this school?
